The Watermelon Berry Cooler uses the hottest current fruits in season. It’s superbly energizing and SCREAMS refreshing! At the peak hot afternoon hour is when I enjoy this cooler the most which gives me an instant “glow” (so I’ve been told) and immediately uplifts my mood (this I know for sure). The star of this cooler is the obvious, quintessential must of summer, watermelon. Watermelons are a sweet lovers’ best summer treat. Summer doesn’t seem quite legit without heaps of watermelon intake. They go under my beauty food list as the ultimate hydrator and a “de-bloater”, great for bikini season.
Recent studies award watermelon as one of the highest lycopene carrying foods. High content of lycopene is important for cardiovascular health. Furthermore, scientists are now emphasizing that lycopene also plays a vital role for bone health.
Did I mention you can make this drink under 10 minutes?! More like 7 minutes.
All you need for this cooler are watermelon, blueberries, raspberries, coconut oil, chia seeds and salt. I use himalaya salt but sea salt will do just fine as well.
- 1 cup watermelon
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1/4 cup raspberries
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1 tbsp chia seed
- pinch of himalaya salt (or sea salt)
- 2 ice cubes (add more or less to your liking)
- Blend all ingredients until smooth.
- Drink up, cool down, glow up and Blossom with Brilliance.
